Mental Health Services
I work with ages 5 and up. I have worked in schools, outpatient private practice, outpatient community mental health, residential, and in-home services. I provide individual, child-family sessions and group therapy. I currently accept Optum, Cigna, Aetna, Carelon, Quest Behavioral Health, and BCBS. Self-Pay rates are $125 for individual and child-family sessions. Self-Pay initial intake is $145.
Groups
LGBTQ+ Kids Group Therapy- Starting October 2025
This group is recurring with sessions 3 times a month. Currently available for children in 6-8th grade. Please email aneal@mendedtherapypllc.com if interested.
This group is self pay or Aetna insurance only. $40 per group therapy session for self pay.
Mended Group Therapy-COMING SPRING 2026!
This a recurring process group. Sessions are once a month for ages 18 and up. Clients will bring in an article of clothing to mend. They will work with the piece of clothing with some mindfulness techniques and talk through what the pieces mean to them (It’s okay if it is has no meaning initially!). The group will walk through ways they can apply the idea of mending into their daily lives and struggles. Identifying the beauty in their lives that they may struggle to see.
Please be sure to note if you have mended any clothes before.
There is an extra consent form as sewing needles are used in this group. If you are unable to use a sewing needle without assistance, please be sure to note this in your email and Mended Therapy will try to accomodate the best they can with adaptive tools.
This group is self pay only. $50 per group therapy session as Mended Therapy will be providing the tools.
